“Nicole, the fediverse chick.”

It’s a spam/scam/something that started showing up in peoples inboxes several months ago and kind of became a running joke (“I finally got a gf guys!”). A bunch of different posts have been made, it’s really only notable as it’s the “first” scam/bot/whatever it is of this type on lemmy as far as I know.

I’d be way more concerned about running into someone in a 'bando than out in the woods though.

Hiker in the woods is going to go the other way. A homebum in a bando? Who knows how they’ll react.
