Bars being drawn way too far apart to actually hold whoever’s in the cell is a pet peeve of mine.
This was explained in Roger Rabbit:

That’s one of my favorite movies, and I always misheard that line as “sunny.” I thought he was just being sarcastic, but that makes a lot more sense!
