    Half-joking: adjective “said, done, or acting in a seemingly jokey manner, but with some serious intent”

    There are phrases as well that can be used, such as:

    “Joking, not joking.”

    “Kidding, not kidding.”

    “No, but seriously.”

    “I’m joking…unless?”
