To me touching the stove is when 70 million grandmas need financial, physical, and medical assistance all at once.
None of these people think it’s going to happen to them. I live in a state full of 65+ and then a bunch of MAGA veterans. They need to lose those VA & SS benefits. Some of them are using grandmas social security. From what I can see in my state it would take about 2 weeks of no Social Security checks and MAGA would be looking to Jan 6 again.
So ya I agree with ya. We should have shut down the government and explained why we did it and explained what we needed to open it back up. It was a really simple maneuver and Schumer dropped the ball and fucked us all. I was inspired to see Booker holding the floor yesterday for 25 hours. We need more Booker’s and less schumers in the house. Dems need stronger leadership. Stronger strategy, etc etc.
