Lol, imagine the villain wanting to cause chaos and inadvertently doing the right thing. While the protagonists stick to their “norms and traditions”, even if the norm are wrong. Ironic.
Just putting it out there that Snowden and the journalist he worked with, Glenn Greenwald, were and are both a lot more right wing than they seemed to a lot of folks on first glance.
Both of them have some good viewpoints that are seriously undermined by other more unsavory viewpoints they have.
I mean… yea… just because someone did a good thing, doesn’t make them a perfect human. I mean even the famous non-violent leader Gandhi slept with his niece (allegedly)
Glenn, yes. Snowden I don’t think so.
My impression of him is that he wants to unite everyone against surveillance, and doesn’t want other issues to get in the way of his messaging/work about that. I could be wrong.
