some could view it as unfunny(personally i dislike the ‘grandmas facebook had a leftist baby with a political propaganda poster’-style posts but i cant downvote or see downvotes anyways, that aspect of reddit has always been anger inducing for me so im glad i don’t have access to it.) i dont see this meme as being bad though; air left my nose, dopamine pathways were activated.

I didn’t downvote but it’s low effort to invent Trump stupidity when there’s years of public statements of his stupidity to highlight.

Merkel is pretty unpopular among the German left. There’s a lot of things she did wrong, but the big one is that she was a big reason for why Germany was dependent on Russian Gas for heating and electricity until the next government cut off the pipelines after they invaded the Ukraine.

Of course, there are also a lot of things she did right and she was probably a major factor in keeping Germany stable during the 16 years in which she was leading the country, but these kind of memes still seem a bit ignorant about her.
