I get the joke but really- all the more reason to have wheels that aren’t gonna fucking fall off and brakes that’ll actually stop you before you hit that shit. Unsafe cars on perfect roads really aren’t as much of a problem as on bad roads.

My thermostat has a hot and cold setting that will heat when cold and cool when hot- I can also set it to a mode based on outside temp or time of day. You might just need a smarter thermostat.
