Every single tech company eventually becomes an ad-company and/or a data company. Whether it’s “humble” beginnings are hardware or software…
They’ve just not envisioned any other way to monetize. As “smart” and “innovative” as they supposedly are…

Regardless of the truth/validity of this particular item (I’ve certainly no love for Meta)…
After a long run with Google, it strikes me a bit sad that I now find myself at a point where the phrase “Google says” causes me to instantly question the validity, sanity, and value of whatever that phrase is referencing.
Sad that Google has brought me to this point. “Don’t be Evil” has fallen a loooong way.
