Our capitalist society allows people without life skills and social experience to become medical professionals, causing them to provide inadequate care to the poor, disabled and elderly. I’m not saying it’s everybody, most of them are good hard working people, but many in medicine lack the necessary empathy and life experience to deal with situations at work in a helpful way. That’s why there is so much distrust and antipathy towards the field. IMO anyway.
